TED University carries out its entrepreneurship processes in two main branches:

• Social Entrepreneurship
• Technology-Oriented Classic Entrepreneurship

The Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation branch is one of the areas of excellence that TEDU has chosen in research and practice and is run by the IstasyonTEDU Social Innovation Center.

Established on April 8, 2016, IstasyonTEDU operates within ATID as a multifunctional production area that aims to support social innovation processes within the framework of TEDU's vision of being an innovative city university. IstasyonTEDU, which brings the actors who carry out social benefit-oriented works from different disciplines and channels together, is an idea laboratory and social incubation center seeking innovative solutions to existing social problems. IstasyonTEDU, acts with the vision to use its institutional capacity, academic knowledge and creative power of its students to create positive social change,  by putting forward examples of good practice on both the scales of Turkey and Ankara and on a global scale in the development of TEDU as an active social actor..

Technology-Oriented Classic Entrepreneurship branch is carried out by ATID. Aware of the fact that the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem is indispensable for social, cultural, and economic progress, TEDU supports entrepreneurship processes from the beginning to the growth stage. To this end, TEDU provides its students and academicians with the necessary expert support for technology and innovation-oriented business ideas to make their way to the market.

TEDU is aware of the importance of access to finance in achieving the growth targeted by enterprises. The financial tools available to entrepreneurs in the ecosystem and the number of actors investing at different levels are not yet sufficient. TEDU also aims to be one of the few corporate technology investors in our country in order to contribute to this shortcoming. For this purpose, it has completely allocated a certain budget from its own resources to be included in the 1514 - TechInvesTR  Entrepreneurship Capital Support Program, which was established with the aim of activating initiative capital funds and is carried out in cooperation with TÜBİTAK TEYDEB and the T. R. Ministry of Treasury and Finance.

In the evaluation made by the T. R. Ministry of Treasury and Finance and TÜBİTAK, TEDU Ttechnology Transfer Office (TEDUTECH) was among 12 universities that were eligible to be supported among the 23 university institutions that applied. On 9 September 2019, a list of 5 funds and 12 university organizations (3 TTOs and 9 Technoparks) that will participate in these funds within the scope of the TechInvesTR program of the T. R. Ministry of Treasury and Finance were presented to the public.

• IdeathonTEDU

IdeathonTEDU, TED Üniversitesi öğrencilerine girişimcilik fikirlerini hayata geçirebilmeleri için kaynak ve destek sağlamak amacıyla düzenlenen bir fikir yarışmasıdır. 4 tematik alanı vardır;

- Eğitim Teknolojileri
- Çevre ve Gıda Teknolojileri
- Sağlık Teknolojileri
- Akıllı Şehirler ve Bağlantılı Araçlar

• TEDÜ-LAD

TEDÜ-LAD, TEDÜ lisans öğrencilerini akademik araştırma faaliyetlerine özendirmek ve bilimsel araştırma süreçleri içerisinde yer almaya teşvik etmek için sağlanan araştırma destek fonudur. • TEDÜ-BAP

TEDÜ-BAP, yenilikçi araştırmaları desteklemek için TED Üniversitesi tarafından sağlanan bir Çekirdek Araştırma Fonudur. TEDÜ-BAP, Ekim ve Mart aylarında olmak üzere yılda iki defa çağrıya çıkmaktadır. Detaylı bilgi için buraya tıklayabilirsiniz.

• TÜBİTAK - BiGG

Bireysel Genç Girişim (BiGG) adıyla anılan TÜBİTAK Teknoloji ve Yenilik Destek Programları Başkanlığı (TEYDEB) 1512 – Girişimcilik Destek Programı, girişimcilerin teknoloji ve yenilik odaklı iş fikirlerini katma değer ve nitelikli istihdam yaratma potansiyeli yüksek teşebbüslere dönüştürebilmeleri için, girişimcilerin fikir aşamasından pazara kadar olan faaliyetlerini desteklemektedir. BiGG Programı girişimciliğin özendirilmesini ve uluslararası rekabet gücü olan, yenilikçi, teknoloji düzeyi yüksek ürün ve hizmetleri geliştirebilen başlangıç firmalarının oluşturulmasını amaçlamaktadır. • EIT-HIVE

EIT-HIVE Projesinin misyonu, ulusal ve uluslararası düzeyde belirlenen 'best practice' paylaşımı ve networking  yoluyla, proje ortağı yüksek öğrenim kurumlarının yenilikçilik ve girişimcilik kapasitesini arttırmaktır. 

Proje, 2030 hedefiyle ortaklaşa geliştirilen bir IVAP uygulayarak ticarileştirme kapasitesinde kurumsal değişiklik sağlayacaktır. 7 HEI ve bilgi üçgeninin diğer tarafından 2 aktörden oluşan konsorsiyum, yüksek öğrenimde kurumsal düzeyde sistemik bir etki elde etmeyi amaçlamaktadır.
